25 - 28 days at sea! The course will take the impressing fleet down to the temperamental Bay of Biscay, while the rear winds along the Portuguese coast will hurry the yachts to brave the Gibraltar before enjoying the landing at the stop-over in Agadir, Morocco.

Imagine sweet trade winds, soft tropical squalls and magic sunsets and your emotion when the first unique scent of  the Caribbean reach you as you approach the coast of  the tiny island of Saint-Bart's...

Join the race and be part of the fleet of magnificent classic yachts, exceptional pieces of art, drawn by naval architects loved and cherished by their owners, admired by spectators and supporters.

Like elegant ocean birds they are conceived to cross the oceans thanks to brave women and men thirsting for adventure and liberty. Some were outstanding: Eric Tabarly, Sir Francis Chichester, Marin Marie. participating in famous races across the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean and to the most daring would sail, single handed, around the world!

Yachtsmen and women, owners and crews of classic yachts, have for a long time hoped for a great ocean race challenge.

By creating a transatlantic race, exclusively reserved for traditional yachts, we put the highlights on the particularities, qualities, purity and elegance of our boats.

This classic transatlantic ocean- race, in mythic waters, will be the first Transat-Classic. We aim to be an absolute must among the the international ocean yacht racing events.
